William Gurstelle is a freelance writer, and best selling author. He earned his mechanical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1978 and his MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota in 1984. He is licensed by the state of Minnesota as a Professional Engineer.

· Developed and led course on “Voice over IP Telephony” for the University of Wisconsin School of Engineering.
· Key member of media relations team for a 30,000 person festival held annually in northern Nevada.
· Provided technical leadership for technology related multi-million-dollar projects with emphasis on organization design issues, sales, and customer service as impacted by telecommunications systems and networks. Clients included Medtronic, Marquette Bank, State of Minnesota, and Target Corp.
Interesting facts:
· Appeared as a contestant on the network television show “Win Ben Stein’s Money”, where unlike most contestants, he actually did win Ben Stein’s money.
· Robot builder and participant in Twin Cities Mechwars Robotic Combat events. His fighting robots were named Tosca and Sparafucile.
· Knows how to juggle. Middling accordion player who plays enthusiastically, but will always keep his day job.
